Problem: Britain and France proposed a no fly zone over Libya on Friday. They began sending war planes to the Mediterranean.
Exigence: This is important because this calls in the question of if we want to support big government or simply rights. It seems as though Britain and France did this spontaneously with no real important cause in the matter.

Problem: A Japan nuclear plant is on the verge of a very serious meltdown that could affect thousands and thousands of people.
Exigence: This meltdown could have enormous effects on the Japanese cities and the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Workers are working around the clock to contain this disaster, being named the worst disaster since Chernobyl.

Problem: Were the changes to the constitution in Egypt necessary and do the all the voters approve of this change?  Was this change to the constitution placed at an inopportune time with the elections within a few months.
Exigence: This could be a very serious problem for the economy of Egypt with the elections within a few months. People believe that this could “boost the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood and members of the former ruling party.”

Problem: Some people feel that Barrack Obama should not be getting involved in Brazilian affairs with our already on-going involvement in others nation’s politics. People also feel that this could help our somewhat strained ties with South America.
Exigence: This is important because maybe President Obama should be focusing on our affairs in matters such as Japan, Africa, etc. What he decides to do in Brazil could have an affect on the outcome of the other involvements.

Problem: The Conservative government in Canada lied about a deal in an effort to try to remain in power. A deal that could help it survive a number of nonconfidence votes in the weeks to come.
Exigence: This is a major problem right now dealing with corrupt government. This has to make the people of Canada nervous knowing that their government is corrupt and could lead to a possible 4th election within seven years. This is important for the future economy and government of Canada.

Problem: The U.S.-backed president of Yemen suffered a political blow when his own powerful tribe demanded his resignation.
Exigence: This is very important in Yemen because the people are trying to get him out of his three decades in power. People were killed in the protest throughout the streets when President Saleh’s security opened fire on the protesters.
